HHW and Electronics Collections

Collection events are usually free services which are offered only to residents of the sponsoring municipality and for non-commercial waste. Check to see if an appointment is required. HHW includes items such as antifreeze, car batteries, fluorescent lights, glues, insecticides, medications, mercury thermometers, motor oil, paint, paint thinner, organic solvents, polishes, smoke detectors, wood stains, and electronics such as computers and TVs. Check to see which items qualify in your community.
